Crowdsourced Requirements Engineering Challenges and Solutions: A Software Industry Perspective

Software crowdsourcing (SW CS) is an evolving software development paradigm, in which crowds of people are asked to solve various problems through open call (with the encouragement prizes for top solutions). Because its dynamic nature, SW CS has been progressively accepted and adopted industry. However, issues pertinent understanding requirements among engineers yet be clarified explained. If not clear team, it a significant effect on quality product. This study aims identify potential challenges faced by when conducting SW–CS based engineering (RE) process. Moreover, solutions overcome these also identified. Qualitative data analysis performed interview collected from industry professionals. Consequently, 20 RE their subsequent proposed devised, further grouped under seven categories. beneficial academicians, researchers practitioners providing detailed that could eventually guide them understand effectively implement CS.
